Delete your Carbon Portrait account
Delete in the app
- Sign in to Carbon Portrait.
- Open Profile → Account & Security → Delete account.
- Review the consequences and confirm the request.
Request deletion from the web
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address associated with your account. Use the subject “Carbon Portrait account deletion” and include the registered email address. We may ask for limited additional information to verify ownership.
What happens
- Your sessions are revoked and the account enters the cooling-off period shown in the app, currently 15 days. Signing in during that period cancels the request.
- After the cooling-off period, account details and associated cloud content—including people, relationships, notes, conversations, profiles, memories, attachments and synchronization data—are deleted or de-identified.
- Transaction, refund, consent, fraud-prevention and dispute records may be retained only for legally required periods with restricted access.
- Data stored locally on your device must be removed by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app.
- Deleting the account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in Google Play before or after submitting the deletion request.
